Century is proud to host the Harrow Camera Club

about The Harrow Camera Club

We are a very friendly, welcoming and encouraging club where technical and artistic skills can be improved and developed at one’s own pace. The club meets on Monday evenings, 7.45-10.00pm (excluding Bank Holidays) alternating with meetings here at Century on the 2nd and 4th Mondays and via Zoom (in our own homes) on the 1st and 3rd Mondays. Zoom gives us access to contributors, speakers and judges from far and wide, giving us new voices, new experiences and inspiration.

Our photography club provides the ideal forum for anyone with the passion and enthusiasm for capturing the world around them through the lens or mobile phone. The membership encompasses people who just enjoy the sociability, those who want to take better family and holiday photographs through to ‘serious’ amateurs and professionals. The club’s programme is varied, a mixture of competitions, inspirational and informative talks and informal workshops all of which contribute to understanding and learning.

Harrow Camera Club was founded in 1933 and is a member of the Chilterns Association of Camera Clubs with affiliation to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain.   We were based in Harrow/Hatch End for 90 years (!) until our recent move to our swish new venue here at Century Bowling & Sports Club where we look forward to the next 90 years!

We offer three free visits before joining.

Harrow Camera Club is a great place for people who love photography, experienced or just starting out. We are a friendly bunch and we don’t bite!

We really look forward to meeting you soon.
